Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology required.
• Preference for Sociology teaching credentials and ability to support both Psychology and Sociology instructional needs.
• Design classroom instructional activities appropriate to course objectives and expected rigor.
• Embed interactive learning activities to engage student learning and develop active learning skills.
• Align learning opportunities and assessments with program outcomes and core competencies.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Psychology courses and possible Sociology courses.
• Provide classroom instruction and college service.
• Meet all classes as scheduled and maintain office hours.
• Adhere to college policies and participate in departmental/college meetings.
• Embed interactive learning activities and use technology where applicable.
• Motivate students to perform at their highest level while maintaining an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
