Job summary

Tyler Junior College seeks a Psychology professor to teach undergraduate Psychology courses. Preference will be given to candidates qualified to teach Sociology and to support instruction in both disciplines.

Professors provide classroom instruction and college service and are responsible to department chairs and instructional deans. Candidates may be considered for Sociology credentialing to expand instructional duties and support college programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology with 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology.
• Credentialing to teach Sociology is preferred to support cross-discipline instruction.
• Experience teaching at the college level is desirable.
