Texas Southern University seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology (Tenure-Track) to teach across the psychology curriculum at undergraduate and graduate levels. Responsibilities include clinical supervision for graduates if licensed, mentoring students, and maintaining an active research agenda with external funding pursuits.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in psychology and prefer Texas licensure or eligibility. Service contributions to the department and university are expected.

Formación

• Earned doctorate in Psychology.
• Licensure in Texas as a Psychologist or School Psychologist, or eligibility for immediate licensure in Texas, is preferred.
• Teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teaching courses across the psychology curriculum at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
• Provide clinical supervision to graduate students (if licensed)
• Maintain an active research agenda and pursue external funding
• Advise and support students; participate in governance and service
• Perform other duties as assigned
