American University’s School of Public Affairs seeks a part-time SPA Undergraduate Newsletter Student Assistant to support the creation, design, and distribution of the undergraduate newsletter. Job Description: Summary: The SPA Undergraduate Newsletter Student Assistant will support the creation, design, and distribution of the School of Public Affairs’ undergraduate newsletter. This position will work closely with the Undergraduate Academic Services team to produce visually appealing and engaging communications for the SPA undergraduate community. This position is scheduled for 5 hours a week at $18.40 per hour.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Part-time. 5 hours per week.

Salary Range: $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience

• Must be a current AU undergraduate student in good academic standing.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Familiarity with Mailchimp and Canva preferred.
• Experience with content creation, design tools, or email marketing platforms preferred.

This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
