Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking an experienced UPBM Administrator & Curriculum Advisor to manage all undergraduate courses within the Biology department. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and central services to ensure optimal course offerings and student support.

Responsibilities include enrollment management, grading coordination, liaison with Registrar, TA hiring, and maintaining course records in UR Student and Blackboard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Advising experience and program management in higher education preferred.
• Experience with student information systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all undergraduate biology courses; liaise with faculty and staff.
• Coordinate with Registrar, IT, and central services to meet class needs.
• Advise faculty and students on policy, requirements, and special requests.
• Handle course enrollment, scheduling, and room allocations in UR Student/Workday.
• Coordinate TA hiring, grading, and exam logistics; maintain records.
• Assist with transfer credits, independent research, and registration processes.
