Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in academic advising or related student services is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising to support student retention and graduation.
• Interpret and explain university policies, procedures, and curriculum to students and staff.
• Identify and help resolve obstacles impeding academic success for students.
• Analyze students' academic and personal issues and provide referrals or interventions.
• Support students in developing an academic plan to meet graduation requirements.
• Coordinate mentoring or programming for students within various programs.
• Guide students through college and university level administrative processes.
