Job summary

American University’s School of Public Affairs seeks a part-time SPA Undergraduate Newsletter Student Assistant to support the creation, design, and distribution of the undergraduate newsletter. You will work with the Undergraduate Academic Services team to produce visually appealing communications for the SPA undergraduate community.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and format newsletter content for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
• Use Mailchimp to design and send the newsletter.
• Create and edit visual assets in Canva to complement newsletter content.
• Maintain a content calendar and coordinate with staff for timely submissions.
• Ensure brand consistency and accessibility standards are met.
