American University is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant (part-time) to support the School of Public Affairs by conducting targeted research and organizing findings in Excel and Word documents. The role is available to AU graduate students and involves 5–7 hours per week with a $20.00/hour pay rate.
The candidate will compile data to inform departmental planning, benchmarking, and operations, reporting to SPA leadership and performing related research tasks as needed.

Job Description Summary: The Graduate Research Assistant will support SPA Dean Jacknowitz and operations by conducting targeted research and identifying data that can inform departmental planning and benchmarking. The student will work approximately 5 - 7 hours per week and compile research findings into organized Excel and/or Word documents.
Part-time. 5 - 7 hours per week.
$20.00 per hour.
All AU students are eligible to apply for this position, with a preference for those students with a Federal Work Study award.
