Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is recruiting an undergraduate Intern to support portfolio management and systems engineering activities across multiple sites, including Colorado Springs, El Segundo, and Chantilly. The role emphasizes collaboration with program offices and government customers while advancing existing tools and methods.

You will gain exposure to multidisciplinary SoS engineering, MBSE practices, and cross-organizational teamwork in a fast-paced government-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, physics or related discipline.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance; transcripts are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and analytical support to government customers in portfolio management and system-of-systems engineering.
• Interact with Aerospace program office personnel and government customers.
• Support deployment of Aerospace tools and frameworks with government customers.
• Identify new capabilities and enhancements to current capabilities.
• Initiate studies to solve new technical problems and inform management of issues.
