Job summary

Cognex is seeking motivated undergraduate seniors to join its Finance Development Program (FDP) and begin their career as a Cognoid. The program consists of four six-month rotations in various areas in Finance, including planning, analysis, reporting, and accounting, with mentoring and career development planning.

Open to graduates by May 2027; start June 2027. Responsibilities include analyzing booking, revenue, and margin trends; planning department expenses; data analytics using SAP and BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field is required.
• 3.3 minimum cumulative GPA; internship experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team player with cross-functional ability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze booking, revenue, and margin trends.
• Plan and analyze department expenses.
• Provide data analytics utilizing SAP and BI tools.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for senior management.
• Propose and implement process improvements.
• Provide financial support for ad hoc business unit projects.
• Accounting and SOX exposure; Investor Relations exposure; cross-functional exposure.
