Job summary

Grainger's Financial Development Program (FDP) is a three-year rotation offering recent graduates and early-career professionals a path to become finance professionals in a flexible learning environment, with opportunities in downtown Chicago and Lake Forest, IL.

You will rotate through Finance Operations, Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Analytics and Data Science, gain hands-on experience with SAP ERP, PowerBI, SQL, Python, and AI tools, and receive formal mentorship and leadership

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Expected graduation before June 2027, but no sooner than 2 years prior.
• Pursuing or have completed a bachelor's or master's in business or STEM with 1–2 years of related work experience.
• No visa sponsorships required now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding, training sessions, and structured technical trainings.
• Engage with executive leaders and mentors through formal and informal networking.
• Gain exposure to Finance Operations, Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Analytics, Data Science and SAP.
• Develop and apply skills with visualization tools and data analysis to drive improvements.
