Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is seeking an Underbody Zone Lead Engineer to drive the integration of vehicle systems and components from concept to production. The role focuses on architecture, content packaging, and initial systems and component engineering design within a global context.

You will translate strategic objectives into technical requirements, evaluate alternative designs, benchmark competitors, and present engineering solutions to management with a leadership across functions.

• Translate strategic and functional objectives into concrete technical requirements.
• Create and analyze alternative design concepts, while packaging and integrating systems and components.
• Benchmark competitive vehicles to ensure market-leading design solutions.
• Lead an extended, global cross-functional team to balance all requirements and achieve the most optimal engineering solution.
• Present design concepts and engineering solutions clearly to higher levels of management.

Job description

The Underbody Zone Lead Engineer is responsible for designing and developing new vehicles that meet future regulatory requirements as well as customer and competitive targets. This group manages vehicle architecture, content packaging and integration, and initial systems and component engineering design. In addition, the team resolves packaging and adaptation issues as the vehicle timeline advances toward production.
