Job summary

Sun West Mortgage Company, Inc. is seeking licensed Mortgage Loan Officers for our Consumer Direct (Call Center) team at our Cerritos, CA headquarters.

This full-time, on-site role focuses on originating loans and growing relationships with borrowers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will work with our processing and underwriting teams to close loans efficiently, while meeting monthly production goals and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license.
• Minimum of two active state licenses.
• Proven ability to build relationships and close residential mortgage loans.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Self motivated with a results driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a performance based sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with borrowers and guide them through the mortgage process.
• Originate residential mortgage loans including purchase, refinance, and home equity products.
• Recommend lending solutions based on each borrower's financial goals and qualifications.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure an efficient closing process.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending requirements.
• Meet and exceed monthly production goals.
