Job summary

Allied Universal in Temple, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver) to join our logistics-focused team. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and document observations while supporting a welcoming, safe site for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

The role offers flexible scheduling with a fixed Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM and Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM shifts. Pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
