Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. seeks an attentive Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe environment across diverse settings, including government, corporate, retail, and commercial properties.

You will perform foot patrols, monitor surveillance, control access, and report incidents with accuracy while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires professionalism and strong situational awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License if required by state/local law.
• One year of security experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times
