Job summary

Prosegur in Hayward, CA is seeking an Unarmed Security Site Supervisor for Premier Tech Site (Guarding). The role oversees a team of security officers, maintains a safe environment, and coordinates post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at the assigned site.

Ideal candidates have CA Security Guard Card, at least 1 year of security leadership, a High School Diploma or GED, strong English communication, and willingness to pass screening.

• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and strong written and oral communication.
• Prepare written reports and logs with neat handwriting.
• Manage security services, post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at the site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to security officers and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Use access control technology at client sites.
• Handle emergencies and investigate disturbances to protect people and property.

Pay Rate for this position: $30.00Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Manage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Advanced computer skills to utilize innovative, access control technology at client-specific sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
