Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer - Site Supervisor in Foley, AL. The role involves supervising security staff, patrolling facilities, and ensuring a safe environment by monitoring access and reporting incidents.

You will train new hires, coordinate schedules, respond to emergencies, and maintain detailed DARs. This is a 1st-3rd shift, full-time position with benefits and weekly pay, with licensing requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• Must have 2 years of security officer or supervisory experience.
• Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Answer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce facility rules and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Oversee daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
• Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff.
• Escort individuals as needed and provide protection or remove from property.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Supervise for irregular or unusual activity.
