Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Risk Control in Macedonia, OH. You will provide unarmed patrols at a retail location, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while following site procedures.

The role emphasizes visible presence, responding to concerns, and completing incident reports. Full-time schedule and hourly pay are offered, with standard background checks and required licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail sales areas, parking lots, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for suspicious activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.
