Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Presence in West Chester, OH. You will provide a visible security presence, assist customers and employees, and respond to incidents at a retail location.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.85 per hour, and schedules include afternoon/evening shifts. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout retail areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report issues to site leadership and supervision.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
