Job summary

Allied Universal in Palmetto, GA is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to patrol and safeguard the facility. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and document activities using site technology while communicating professionally with staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include access control support, incident response, and reporting patrols and observations to supervision. The role requires at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Age minimum: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
