Job summary

Allied Universal in Monroe, NC seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to protect people and property at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years old, and a high school diploma, with training and growth opportunities offered by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and activity records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
