Job summary

Allied Universal in Richmond, VA is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol CPR Response. You will guard clients across industries, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional service to employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes clear communication, calm response to incidents, and strict adherence to site policies. CPR/First Aid and guard credentials are preferred; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Allied Universal will conduct a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel per site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document observations in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and responders to maintain a welcoming environment.
