Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Equipment Stewardship to safeguard clients across government and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain visibility, deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

The position requires at least 2 years of law enforcement or related security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 20 lbs. A background check and drug screen are required before employment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrol activities, incidents, and access.
