Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver Response in Orlando, FL to protect government facilities and critical assets. You will conduct armed patrols, screen access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies and notify authorities when required.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor screening and access control.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations using approved reporting procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law-enforcement personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor screening and access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and other required information accurately and promptly using approved reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
