Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver for an aerospace and defense site. You will monitor and patrol buildings and restricted areas, deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time, hourly role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to follow site procedures. Alarm panel experience, customer service experience, badge/access control, CPR certification and a HS

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, aircraft support areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
