Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in West Jefferson, NC. The role involves unarmed patrols, controlling site access, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing site.

You will monitor for security incidents, respond calmly to alarms, and document observations using technology. The position offers full-time hours with evening shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Observe and report hazards to site contacts and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
