Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol in Fort Wayne, IN. You will protect client facilities, perform routine patrols, monitor entrances, assist visitors, and maintain a visible security presence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong customer service skills. A background check and drug screen are required; licensing and a valid driver’s license may be needed for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures and, when appropriate, assist with emergency response.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols at the technology-focused location including exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
