Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard (Full Time, Unarmed) in San Jose, CA. You will patrol residential buildings, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide courteous service to residents and guests. The role requires 2+ years in security, a HS diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
