Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access in North Bergen, NJ. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting observations, and following site procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and compliance with background checks

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers per site requirements.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
