Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access in North Bergen, NJ. You will perform unarmed patrols at a logistics site, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You’ll Do:

• Observe and report unusual activity, facility hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
