Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Patrol Access Control in San Jose, CA. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while delivering professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

The role involves documenting activities via computer or tablet and working a daytime-night schedule across shifts. Requires at least 2 years in security, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, lobbies, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and emergencies as directed.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management.
