Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. in Avondale, AZ is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard responsible for a visible security presence and maintaining a safe environment across government, corporate, retail, or commercial sites.

You will patrol, monitor CCTV and alarms, control access, write detailed reports, and uphold SSC’s G.E.T. Principles—Greet, Engage, and Thank—to ensure a positive experience for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law.
• Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Verifiable work history required.
• One (1) year of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
