Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, conducting patrols to protect property and personnel. The role involves standing for long periods and responding to incidents as needed.

Shifts run Mon-Wed 08:00–19:00, with potential weekend work. Required qualifications include a NYS Armed Security Guard License, HR 218, and Concealed Carry, along with strong customer service and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises by monitoring access points and surveillance equipment; enforce regulations.
• Complete incident reports with detailed observations and signatures; follow supervisor directions.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Mon-Wed - 0800-1900

Pay Range

Up to USD $45.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
