Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to monitor client sites and protect people and property. The role requires standing for long periods and adherence to on-site procedures during Sunday-Thursday shifts.

Candidates must hold a valid NYS Security Guard License, be at least 18, and able to work weekends. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits including medical, vision, and PTO.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 1500-2300

Pay Range

Starting from USD $20.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
