Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a reliable Security Guard to observe and report activities at a client site, ensuring the safety of property and personnel. The role involves standing for most of the shift and performing patrols during a Monday to Friday schedule.

Starting pay is USD 18.50 per hour. A valid NYS Security Guard License, a high school diploma or GED, and legal U.S. work history are required. Strong English communication and a valid driver's license are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
• Must have valid drivers license
• Valid NYS Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday - Friday, 0800 x 1600 (Temporary)

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.50/Hr.
