Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Security Guard to protect client sites and property. You will observe and report incidents, patrol premises, and enforce site regulations to maintain safety for people and assets.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a temporary basis, this role requires a NYS Security Guard License, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license, plus strong English communication and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Physically able to perform security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy.
• Secure premises by patrolling and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Complete observation reports and obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 0800 x 1600 (Temporary)

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.50/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
