Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Guard for a full-time position in Minneapolis, MN. You will patrol the site, monitor access, respond to alarms, and document observations using tablets and computers while delivering strong customer service to employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and potential drug screen. This role emphasizes a visible presence, incident reporting, and collaboration with site leadership to ensure safety and security

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications and collaborate with leadership and site contacts.
