Job summary

Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is hiring a Security Officer to patrol and safeguard client sites, primarily as an unarmed officer in a technology-focused location. You will deter incidents, enforce site policies, and respond to alarms and emergencies using tablet tools and professional communication.

This full-time role offers a fixed schedule (Mon–Sat 12:00 PM–6:00 PM), pay of $16.50 per hour, and benefit options including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, entry points, and common spaces.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Complete clear, accurate activity reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
