Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time patrol operations in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at a technology and telecommunications campus.

The role requires reliability and the ability to follow site procedures, with opportunities for training, growth, and benefits. Pay is $12.00 per hour with a steady evening schedule.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate with Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.
