Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a swing shift in City of Industry, CA. You will maintain a safe, secure environment, observe, report incidents, and interact professionally with clients and employees. Must hold CA Guard Card and a valid driver's license, with strong English communication.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with a $20.00 per hour wage and weekly pay. Training and benefits are offered as part of Prosegur's commitment to safety and service.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid CA Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capable of following complex instructions.

• Willingness to participate in screening process including drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• 1 year Truck Gate Security Officer experience.
• 1 year screening officer experience.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and effective communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols and monitor access to the facility.
• Log inbound/outbound trucks and issue badges; manage visitor sign-in/out logs.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent hazards or theft.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies.
• Escort individuals as needed and write daily DARs.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Secure facility and designated areas.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Investigate and prepare incident reports.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
• Logging inbound and outbound trucks, control/limit access to the facility at entry point to include visitor sign in/out logs, issue identification badges, etc.
• Capable of walking to and from guard shack to trucks/be very agile
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
