Prosegur in Bell Gardens, CA is seeking an Armed Security Officer to cover all shifts. You will patrol, monitor premises, and respond to incidents, ensuring a secure environment and compliance with client and legal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher education or training in criminal justice a plus.
• Must possess and maintain an Armed Security Officer license/permit per state requirements.
• Must supply and maintain a personally owned, approved 9mm firearm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and ethical conduct required.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience strongly preferred.
• Must pass background checks, drug testing, and required training.
• Valid driver’s license if position requires vehicle patrol.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter unauthorized activity.
• Enforce policies in a professional manner.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings promptly.
• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and incidents.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports.
• Secure facilities, equipment, and designated areas as directed.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and customers.
• Remain at assigned post until properly relieved.
• Exercise appropriate force as necessary, following laws and policy.
• Support investigations by gathering information and assisting supervisors.
