Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer – Site Monitor in Darlington, SC. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to alarms while delivering professional customer service.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, at least 2 years of security experience, and a high school diploma. The role is full-time with a daytime to evening schedule and opportunities for growth within a national security company.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen to be conducted.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following post orders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs of patrols and incidents.
