Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor in Charleston, SC. You will provide customer service, patrol facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role is a part-time position with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour and a flexible schedule, including evening shifts. Minimum requirements include at least 1 year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; computer or tablet use is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
