Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer - Shift Supervisor in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time role covers 40 hours weekly with an afternoon shift pattern and weekends.

You will manage access control, greet visitors, monitor cameras, and prepare incident reports to ensure client safety and compliance. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a valid Security Guard License, and at least 3 years of security and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• Must have 3 year of experience as a Security Officer.
• Must have 3 year of experience in Customer Service.
• Must have 3 year of experience as a Shift Supervisor.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, checking in, and directing visitors.
• Enforcing access control and assuring that only authorized personnel enter the property.
• Monitoring operational procedures.
• Maintaining constant surveillance of assigned areas.
• Providing customer service for residents, visitors, and/or guests.
• Writing accident and incident reports for any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
• Make sure all entry/exit gate equipment is operational.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Job Skills / Requirements

Prosegur Security is looking for Access Control Officers in West Palm Beach Area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. This critical position safeguards our clients and what they value the most.

Shift includes: Afternoon

Sun: 1100-1900

Mon:1200-2000

Wed-Thurs: OFF

Fri-Sat:1500-2300

40 hours per week

The starting pay rate is $18.57/HR
