Job summary

Prosegur in Northlake, IL is seeking an unarmed security officer to protect customers and employees, monitor facilities, and respond to incidents. You will perform patrols, observe and report hazards, and maintain professional conduct with clients and visitors.

Requirements include 18+, High School Diploma or GED, clean driving record, strong English communication, ability to pass training, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Must be able to pass all necessary training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Active PERC and 20hr

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
