Job summary

Enterprise Security Services Corporation is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to support client sites in the Roanoke area. The company welcomes both experienced officers and dependable candidates who are prepared to learn and develop within the organization.

Qualifications

• Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registration (or ability to obtain)
• Must meet Virginia age and eligibility requirements for security registration
• Pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to Roanoke area sites
• Willingness to learn site procedures and adhere to them consistently
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence that deters theft and unsafe conditions
• Patrol the property and verify entrances and exits are secure
• Monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards and report them promptly
• Assist visitors, customers, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and in accordance with procedures
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate with site management and emergency services as required
