Job summary

Enterprise Security Services Corporation is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support client sites in the Roanoke area. This role welcomes both experienced individuals and those eager to learn.

The officers will ensure safety by monitoring properties and responding to incidents while providing excellent customer service. Weekly pay, growth potential, and the requirement of a Class A black uniform are included in the benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registration.
• No prior experience required, training and guidance are provided.
• Meet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registration.

Overview

Enterprise Security Services Corporation is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support client sites in the Roanoke area. Where you’ll work

Officers cover client locations in and around Roanoke, such as retail, commercial, and community sites. Assignments are based on coverage needs and may change between shifts, so we look for officers who can work reliably across the local area.

Responsibilities

• Keep a visible, professional presence that helps prevent theft and unsafe conditions
• Patrol the property and check that entrances and exits are secure
• Monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards, and report them promptly
• Assist visitors, customers, and staff in a friendly, helpful way
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and by the book
• Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate with site management and emergency services as needed

Requirements

• Possess or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registration
• Meet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registration
• Pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to reach assigned sites in the Roanoke area
• Willingness to learn site procedures and follow them consistently
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• No prior experience required, training and guidance are provided
