Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Recordkeeping to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide friendly, professional service to visitors, tenants, and staff.

You will respond to incidents, monitor access points, document observations, and follow site procedures. A high school diploma is required; 2+ years of security experience and licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help identify and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations.
• Communicate professionally with retail personnel, visitors, and local responders while assisting with directions, lost-property inquiries, and other routine service needs.
