Job summary

Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff in Lakeland, FL. You will perform patrols, observe and report hazards, and interact professionally with clients and visitors while following client and company post instructions.

This role requires strong customer service, basic to intermediate computer skills, and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends. A High School Diploma and an Unarmed Security License are required.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
