Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the graveyard shift in Sparks, NV. You will guard premises, ensure safety, and interact professionally with clients and staff.

This full-time role requires vigilance, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow complex post instructions while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and legal ability to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or GED required; security licenses preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Capable of following complex instructions and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional client interaction.
• Willingness to undergo drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for customers and employees while performing unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Follow site and client post instructions; comply with company policies.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients and the public in a professional manner.
• Perform routine foot patrols and light lifting; work in various weather conditions.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be available to work six days a week, on at least two different shifts
• Understand that you may be called into work with little or no notice
• Understand that as a flex, no regular schedule or advanced schedules are guaranteed

Shift: Saturday - Tuesday

• Pay Rate: $23.00
• Weekly pay
